Lindsey Sirera is a film and television actress whose work can be seen on Showtime, Reelz, and across the Indie Film Circuit. Her recent work includes leading roles as a scheming yet hopelessly romantic psychic in the short Crystal and as a sweet, star-crossed lover with a quiet strength in the apocalyptic dark-comedy The Last Ten. Sirera can also be seen in season five of the Emmy award-winning show, The Affair, as a body double for the beautiful but troubled daughter, Whitney Solloway.
Sirera takes her training just as seriously as her time on set, and devotes her free time to improving her craft from extra scene study work to memorizing spare monologues. She studies theatrically with renowned acting coach Marjorie Ballentine, a student of Stella Adler herself who has coached such talent as Kristen Ritter, Nelsan Ellis, and Gary Oldman. Sirera rigorously studies Adler techniques, and prides herself in her in-depth character analysis and scene study process. Commercially, Sirera has taken numerous courses with Judy Kain of the Keep it Reel Acting studio including the acclaimed Advanced Commercial Callback course.
Sirera was born and raised in New Orleans, LA where she studied ballet and drama at a young age, and relocated to Houston, TX following Hurricane Katrina. She studied journalism at Pepperdine University, where she anchored the broadcast news program, News Waves 32, for several seasons. After a semester abroad in London and graduating a year early with summa cum laude honors, Sirera went on to work across the entertainment industry as an actress, journalist, red carpet fashion stylist, and digital video personality. Her articles can be read on E! News and HelloGiggles, and her comedic short videos, all of which she wrote and produced, can be seen on HelloGiggles Video. Off the stage, Sirera is an avid yogi who savors her time on the mat, and is 200-hour certified yoga instructor. She is a lifelong dog lover who loves to volunteer for local rescue organizations, and her other hobbies include creative writing, interior design, and gluten-free baking.
