In Los Angeles, he has taken advanced On-Camera classes at Margie Haber Studio. He has taken multiple classes at Killian’s Workshop. After doing many On-Camera courses, he decided to take more of a classical approach, and go back to his roots. He started taking scene study classes at The Berg Studios, then started working privately with Gregory Berger-Sobeck on Shakespearean monologues. He has worked privately with James Kemp (LAMDA) in preparation for his roles in CSC’S “Hamlet,” and also completed an advanced course of the Yat Malmgren technique. He has also taken a Yat Malmgren course with Giles Foreman (Drama Centre London.) Jarman has also trained voice with Saul Kotzubei, as well as the Alexander technique with Jessica Wolf (Yale.) Most recently, he has finished a clown course at The Clown School.
Most Recently, Jarman made his Shakespearean debut in California Shakespeare Company’s “Hamlet” in early 2019. He was given the task to play three characters (Marcellus, Rosencrantz, and the English Ambassador.) The play was very well received, and Jarman was most praised for his portrayal of Rosencrantz.
Jarman has been driving go-karts since he was 4 years old, and riding dirt bikes since he was 12. He enjoys driving anything that is fast. He will sometimes take his motorcycle through the mountains on the Angeles Crest Hwy, or ride through the Malibu hills. He takes his 6 month old Chocolate Lab “Odin” to the dog park to burn off some steam. He also has been involved in martial arts since he was a boy. Starting with Karate, then moving to Wrestling and TKD, and most recently he has been taking Muay Thai classes at the Thai Boxing Institute. Growing up in a small town, Jarman still has a penchant for target practice with rifles and pistols. Jarman loves to rock climb, hike, and go camping. He also has plans to visit his childhood friend in Bordeaux, so he is learning conversational French.
Jarman looks to diversify his resume in the next few years by playing many different types of characters with the tools he’s learned in Yat Malmgren. He is fascinated by accents, and wants to mold his career to that of Tom Hiddelston, and Michael Fassbender.
