After shooting her first co-starring role on CBS’s Criminal Minds, Katharine Everett was hooked. She went on to star in many spec pilots and films including the independent thriller Wages of Sin (available on Amazon) and the Robert Kirbyson-directed Unlocked. You can see her on Colony Bay TV’s Life of Riley and in the 2014 winner of Hollyshort’s Best Action Film Professional Conduct Becoming of An Elite Spy.
While receiving her B.F.A in Acting at Baylor University, Katharine worked with Equity companies during the summer. Credits includes A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and Nunsense with the Dorset Theatre Festival. Since arriving in Los Angeles, Katharine has trained with Steppenwolf Classes West, Warner Loughlin Studios, Christina Chauncey, the SITI Company, and many other notable coaches and teachers.
For several years, Katharine toured the nation with WME Live Events, playing moms and young women struggling to find peace and purpose in the midst of the trials of life. Performing one-woman shows across the U.S. for audiences of thousands connected her with ‘everyday women’ just like herself: hard-working moms, teachers, wives, small- business owners, nurses and health-care professionals.
Katharine grew up in a large family in small-town Texas, riding horses and rounding cattle on her family ranch. She taught herself guitar at a young age, and took up ballet from the age of four through college. She still enjoys trips back to the ranch to ride and round, but lives in Los Angeles with her actor husband, Toby Meuli.
Katharine is looking forward to an exciting and fruitful episodic season in this golden age of television!
